Bryan Adams sounds absolutely AMAZING live!!!!
Awesome concert but lousy DJ and opening act.
The set list was fantastic, with the wide range of music played by a solo artist. Atif started off with 'Woh Lamhe' in a pop style, high energy performance, leading into other genres. There were a few renditions with Coke Studio quality which we loved, Qawwalis, and mostly comprised of popular Bollywood hits, with the concert ending with Atif's 20-year old (the original track released by Jal band back in 2003) 'Aadat' encore performance. This was the most requested song in this concert.
Atif paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, 'Lambi Judai' famed seasonal singer Reshma and was recognized by the Maryland State Governor for his contributions. There was also a casual medley of nostalgia inducing songs like 'Kya Hua Tera Vada' and 'Jab Koi Baat'.
The evening was lit and the crowd went absolutely nuts! We thoroughly enjoyed it!
